October Notes

Here we are in October already!  We personally have had a busy summer and a "construction" project start in October.  We are working to get my shed done.  Floor was finished yesterday, baseboards today.... and that'll be it for a while as hubby will be busy with other projects.    I was hoping to have it ready for my Annual Jewelry Open House on Oct. 14, but unfortunately that won't be the case.  However it's a start before the snow flies and if we have some more warm days later in the month - who knows what we will get done...

Now on to the upcoming events, so you guys know what's happening in the Jewelry/Art world....

UPCOMING EVENTS:

Event: Backwards Bread Co. 4th Anniversary Event (NNB & BBQ Food)
Time: 7 am - 2 pm
Where:  Backwards Bread Co., 3360 Southway Drive
Town:  Saint Cloud, MN
Backwards Bread is hosting their annual Anniversary Celebration.  This time the dates fell differently for that Saturday, so I will be set up with my jewelry for their event (when normally that's around my NotesNBling annual Open House at the studio) and of course hubby Warren will serve breakfast burritos in the morning and then for lunch, Beef Brisket BBQ sandwiches on Backwards Bread's Brioche buns and cheese curds and fries...

There will be a drawing for a special necklace or bracelet (not sure which yet) and of course the "draw-your-own-sale" and some discounts on selected items.  I'll have some refreshments and snacks.  I'm hoping for nice weather so we can sit outside on the deck and visit a while too.  This is the one time when you can take your time shopping without the pressures of crowds of the craft/art shows.

​Should the weather turn cold/rainy/uber windy, then I'll be moving everything inside.

NOTESNBLING JEWELRY:
l've been working on some new items that I'm excited to share with you all at the upcoming holiday shows.  There are new Christmas Ornament Hangers or Ornaments (you can use them either way) with some fun and unique beads or handcrafted designs all of course NotesNBling style.  I haven't taken pictures of them, but will take a few in the next few days, which means you'll need to check it out on my Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/NotesNBling.

​Sadly I only have two of the daisy half-cuff ones, so be sure to stop by at a show soon to try on for size!  The other's I can make as I've ordered in more magnetic clasps.

ENDING REMARKS:
Hasn't it been the most beautiful warm fall weather lately?  I've really enjoyed the warm temps although very unseasonably warm.  Sadly all that came to an end today when the wind was blowing a hunnerd gazillion miles!  Talk about blustery.  
This Saturday is going to be mighty "cold" feeling after all the warmth with the event at Backwards Bread Co.  I remember last 2 years that the first weekend in October has generally been colder than the second.  So at least (and I hope the forecast stays that way) it'll be a tad warmer with 58 degrees on Oct. 14th.
