I Currently I am sitting in my sunny bright home-away-from-home-office, which is the couch in the living room at my friend's house in Sheboygan Falls, WI. Her little Papillon "Raji" is perched on the back of the couch beside my head, watching me type - well he was anyways. He's getting a tad sleepy after the hard work of observing computering. He is the cutest little thing! PERSONALLY: My visit to Wisconsin actually entails getting to visit with my cousin Juergen from Germany who is here on business in Milwaukee. Since my friend's house wasn't far, I decided to visit her while he is working. This Valentines Day we will have dinner together with my daughter Cindy and tomorrow we will spend the afternoon together to go bumming around in Milwaukee, shopping, eating and sharing memories! So thankful we were able to connect this time as all our schedules worked out to make it happen! At home I've also been busy creating new jewelry... this coming weekend (Saturday, Feb. 18 - see Upcoming Events) I'll be revealing my newest jewelry line Isaiah2816, made with beads from semi-precious stone, dyed stone and imitation Venetian glass beads, with/or without cool themed charms! Super excited about the look. Bracelets will be up for sale first, necklaces are to follow as I still am in the designing process. You can see them on my FaceBook Music Page already! Also there's a few more new "Diffuser" bracelets I've created and added to that line. The lava beads in these bracelets are great for absorbing your favorite Essential Oil so you can wear it throughout the day - and then "reload" the next day with another EO or the same again, depending on your needs. MUSIC: Currently I'm still booking events for the year. If you have any suggestions or know of a group of people who would be blessed by my music, please get in touch with me and let me know. Last month I've mentioned that I'm working on playing in Clovis, New Mexico as well, because I'll be visiting there for about 3 weeks! It'll be great to see my "old hometown" again and all my friends there! I'm still open for a few dates there! Contact me! I'll also be going on tour with the band "Renewed" and "Brendan Brooks" in the month of June. We will start in CO and be coming through SD, ND, MN, WI, IL, MI, KS, MN and back to CO. So keep watching the Tour Dates for updates. Let me know if you would like us to come play at your venue, church or festival. You can also utilize the "TRACK" button up top on the left to receive my new concert dates alerts directly to your e-mail. Sign up is easy and quick, just click on the button to do so. In May again, I'll be attending the InspireSong Songwriter Conference in Aspen, CO. I'm super excited about that and can't wait to see all the new friends I made there last year - and of course make new ones!! I've also been writing on a new song called "Throw Away People"....it'll be an interesting song dealing with how quickly we dismiss people when they no longer fit into a "category", however, God sees them differently. This song was inspired by seeing a homeless vet sleeping in a doorway cove in New Orleans on one of my travels. IN ENDING:
Something has been bugging me as of late and I've found myself in a lot of frustration and kind of getting angry about all the crazy stuff we hear of late. I'm sure many of you may have felt or are feeling the same "pressures" that are seemingly all around us. I know that when I feel that way, my unrighteous anger or reaction to things are not God's righteous anger... so I've been meditating on the following scriptures and want to share those with you. To me, the Word of God is just so amazing...such Words of Wisdom that so totally make sense. What to do when you feel ANGRY: Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. James 1:19, 20. Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath. Ephesians 4:26 A soft answer turneth away wrath: but grievous words stir up anger. Proverbs 15:1 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. Matthew 6:14 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding; but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly. Proverbs 14:29 He that is slow to anger is better than the mighty; and he that ruleth his spirit than he that taketh a city. Proverbs 16:32 Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry; for anger resteth in the bosom of fools. Ecclesiastes 7:9 If thine enemy be hungry, give him bread to eat; and if he be thirsty, give him water to drink; for thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee. Proverbs 25:21, 22 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice; And be ye kind one to another, tender-hearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. Ephesians 4:31, 32. A wise man feareth and departeth from evil, but the fool rageth and is confident. He that is soon angry dealeth foolishly; and a man of wicked devices is hated. Proverbs 14:16, 17 But now ye also put off al these: anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. Colossians 3:8. Cease from anger, and forsake wrath; fret not thyself in any wise to do evil. Psalm 37:8 God is good and I'm grateful He loves us and desires that we keep on His straight and narrow path that leads to life and if we follow Him we will travel successfully. Love you all. Sam

Psalm 100 Scripture
1 Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth. 2 Serve the LORD with gladness; Come before Him with joyful singing. 3 Know that the LORD Himself is God; It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves; We are His people and the sheep of His pasture. 4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name. 5 For the LORD is good; His lovingkindness is everlasting And His faithfulness to all generations. Archives
