December Music Notes

This is SO incredibly freeing to be able to TYPE again without having to copy/paste to put words together or have to dictate something using the phone to type here what I want to share.

Anyhow, I have a new laptop!!!.....YEEEEYYY!!!
I decided to go with a different brand and new operating system, so I have LOTS to learn, but some features I totally love already.

The shopping season's craft & art shows are coming slowly to an end.  I only have two more shows left for this season and a few custom orders to finish.  Then I want to take a few days off between Christmas and New Year.  It's much needed as both Warren and I have had events every single weekend since October.  
This year it's been super busy with my business, so in a way I'm glad I didn't have a lot of music engagements.  What's thrilling is that it's been a huge blessing because I was able to finally upgrade my laptop which I've been needing to do and wish I could have done so two years ago when my laptop started going downhill.  Always glad I can limp things along but the keyboard going out....after three months of copy/paste.... that was a bit much.  LOL. 

PERSONALLY:
The snow season has begun and hubby has been doing a lot of plowing during his time off.  People are always glad to see him.
I'm still not too excited about the winter/snow season.  Usually I love snow and I don't mind shoveling, but I tell ya, it's annoying when you have so much to do in the design studio that you just don't really have the time to shovel.  However, the exercise is good and if one sits a lot, one must move, right?!  

Since this is the busy selling season, I've been working a lot of hours making jewelry, creating some new designs and trying to keep stock up to have a lot of variety for people to choose from.  However in between there are a few little music opportunities with my WOW Ladies group and the occasional other event.

Event:  Let It Snow Vendor/Craft Show

Town:    Forest Lake MN

Warren will also be there with his homemade BBQ Sauce and his newly created Pallet Christmas Trees which look so absolutely cool and you can use them year around too.  They come in different sizes (biggest is 4 ft tall) either plain (where you decorate yourself) or decorated (with hooks for ornaments, tiny Christmas Balls and Micro Lights attached).
Of course I will have all my lines of jewelry available for your browsing and shopping enjoyment.

Event:  Variety Show
Location:  Harvest Fellowship Church
                  400 2nd Ave N
Town:  Sauk Rapids, MN
Warren and I will be part of a variety of acts and talents from our church.  Warren will present a saxophone solo song with backing track and his sound effect pedal.  
I will be singing my original Christmas song "Peace On Earth".

Event:  Sartell Winter Farmers Market
Location:  Sartell Community Center
                  850 19th Street S.
Town:  Sartell, MN
This is the last Winter Market before Christmas, so if you need to get sauce for any holiday parties or you need that last minute gift, be sure to stop by our booths!
There are also other crafters and artisans there who have honey, meat, breads, lotions, handbags and other crafted items as well.

The Sartell Winter Market in the New Year will continue to be only the FIRST SATURDAY of every month, January through April.  Then the summer market will begin....

IN ENDING:
Thank you so much to all of you who are our friends, family, neighbors, customers and concert attendees!  We are so grateful to all of you for your care for us, your prayers, your enthusiasm over the things we make, the music, or just being friends.  It's awesome.  
We have met so many new folks over this past year and some just have left imprints upon our hearts and we are grateful for new friendships and relationships!  God always has a plan and sometimes that plan includes what I call "divine appointments".
