Hello and happy end of January :o-)

That means that winter is almost out the door! Can you tell I'm having spring fever?

Update on my recovery: I'm doing well and getting around so much better than 5 weeks ago. The ribs are still painful and I need to be careful with weight bearing on my right leg, but I actually cleaned the bathtub today!
I found out that I bit off a little more than I could chew today, yet, I got it done with determination! It feels good to have a clean bathroom again! Sometime this week I'm going to try to tackle the floors....

The search for my replacement 4x4 SUV is on!!
With the help of my friends Tami & David, I was able to go to a few car lots this past Saturday, plus I'm checking online on what's available also.
I narrowed my choices down to three models: First on the list is a Toyota
Rav 4, followed by a KIA Sorrento or KIA Sportage....(hoping with remote start which will help me not to have to scrape windows – specially right now)
It's fun to shop, but at the same time it's bittersweet……I do miss my all-paid-for Toyota 4-Runner.
On the other hand I think it's time to get something with a bit better gas mileage and the Toyota Rav 4 and the KIA Sportage would probably be the best choices for a 4x4 SUV....

MINNESOTA UPCOMING EVENTS:
1/31/11 - Tomorrow nite, we will have our Christian Coffeehouse Nite at Warren’s BBQ @ The Suburban Health Club (10081 CR 138, St. Cloud, MN) from 6:30-??
I will be sharing the evening with Kristi Pedron, a local singer/songwriter!

2/1/11 - WOW Ladies Group at Harvest Fellowship Church, Sauk Rapids, MN 4:30pm
Leading Worship.

2/3/11 – Who would like to hear me play a concert on a tour bus?
Here is your chance! We need a few more people to come along!!! (min. of 20 people to book the tour bus - we have 11 so far)
We are going to HEMI (Harold Eatmon Ministries) in Blaine, MN for the Prophetic Power Nite - and during the ride down we will have a great time in worship and song. Bus leaves ShopKo East at 5:15 pm to be at HEMI before 7pm. Service that night is from 7p-12a and then we will be riding back, so expect to be arriving in St. Cloud around 2am. Cost for the bus ride is $15.00 round trip. My CDs will be for sale also.
If you go – you will be blessed – I’ve visited at HEMI several times and I’ve always walked away encouraged, learned something and got a Word or been prayed for!

Please e-mail me if you are interested in going or you can also call: 320-224-2829 to reserve your bus ticket. You can pay ahead of time or you can pay the night before getting on the bus.

Oh, by the way, Warren won second place in the Chili Cook Off in Cold Spring this past weekend!! That's exciting! He has such good food!! I'm really proud of my hubby!
