A bit about our BBQ

Feb. 4, 2008

If you love food and are curious about Warren's BBQ, you came to the right page!
We'll tell you all about what he cooks, how it's prepared (of course we do not give out the secret recipe) and how you can have Warren's BBQ for your own event.

Warren used to own a BBQ restaurant in NM, but due to 9/11 he had to close it down. Yet his passion is cooking and in 2003, Warren was able to buy a Texas Smoker and he started doing small events in NM. His food became soon popular and in August of 2003, he took his BBQ on the road (in conjunction with my first CD release tour).
Mid-Westerners sure know how to appreciate good Texas/NM BBQ and we found ourselves being up in that area more than we were back in NM. So in the fall of 2004 we moved to Beloit, WI.

Warren's BBQ has become popular even down in Nashville, TN, where musicians thrive on his BBQ (it does spark quite some creativity and BBQ songs were quickly composed during the CIA Summit in March 05).

In Sturgis, S.D., 250 bikers voted Warren's BBQ to be the best in Sturgis 2004 in the Hog Master's Challenge People's Choice Award. This year in 2005, Warren once again took first place in the "Warren's BBQ Challenge" and received the People's Choice Award for Best BBQ in Sturgis. To celebrate he smoked a whole hog on his roaster in Sturgis and offered a special price per plate for everyone to enjoy.

Previously Warren also attended one cook-off in Pueblo, CO and won first place with his ribs and fourth place with his chicken in a judging contest. This has been exciting and a blessing. At that judging contest in Colorado, you should have seen Warren hyperventilate when he saw those ribs come off his smoker to present them to the judges. He was shaking. He didn't expect to win first place, so you can imagine his joy when his name was announced!

Warren's BBQ choices he can offer and prepare:
Beef Brisket BBQ, cooked a minimum of 12 hours on his smoker till it about falls apart, sliced and diced and put into his own recipe BBQ sauce.
Pork Ribs with his BBQ Sauce, Pork Loin, and now with having a pig roaster, he will also smoke a whole Hog. In addition Warren offers Johnsonville Brats, Hotdogs, Chicken Breast and Chicken Wings (with or without BBQ Sauce), his own recipe Cole Slaw and Baked Beans. At some events and as per request Warren will make steamed veggies, corn and Fettuccini. -Sam

Due to the rising cost of gasoline and food, we are no longer able to do our travelling BBQ. We are continuing with our music to minister all over the United States, but we will keep our BBQ local (St. Cloud, MN area) for Catering Events only.
If you live in St. Cloud or close surrounding area and are looking to cater your event (weddings, parties, biblestudy groups, church events, etc), please contact Warren Arnold at: 608-346-4286. -Sam
